Most accommodations in Chuuk are within the lagoon on the main island of Weno, which is served almost daily by jet service. These hotels range from very basic to the more upscale resort. Depending on what you want from your hotel, you can shop around to see what each of out hotels have to offer. One thing each features is a friendly and helpful staff that will be happy to get information about enjoying the Truk Lagoon activities and sites. Some small hotels and accommodations are even located on remote lagoon islands to provide a real Robinson Crusoe experience for those wanting to get the feel of life on a tropical outpost. Here, you can see the stars and hear the surf literally at your doorstep. But Truk is not heavily developed and our starlit skies and blue waters are accessible to most everyone staying in Truk Lagoon.
Live aboard ships are also found here for divers and snorkelers who want to visit and dive to the maximum. These ships often move from site to site and provide night dives and specialty diving for those wanting to have the maximum undersea experience.
